My fitness story: Okay- I am not usually the type to share my story but in the spirit of inspiring someone who may need it… here goes. I started coming to the inferno in November 2015. I was literally shaking with nerves as I walked through the door and lovely sparkly Tara greeted me so warmly. I had never been the type of person who worked out or went to any gym and my intention was for a short term weight loss fix- 3 months and done kind of thing. That first boot camp was really intense and I remember feeling really vulnerable and embarrassed about my fitness level but then Shannon came over to demonstrate a few things and offer some kind words. As I was leaving that morning I said to Bryan “that was really difficult” and he responded “yeah, but you did it!” Fast forward a year and a half and its safe to say this gym … Read more "Katie M."
I have been going to Bryan’s for a lonnnng time…since he had just started at Provincial and the classes were small (maybe 4 or 5 yrs? I dunno how long it’s been lol). Over the years, in true Samantha fashion, I have yo yo’d in weight and when I am … Read more "Samantha Q."
Well, I too need to get over being shy, so here is my fitness story. Bryan, I had said I was never going to post these on fb, but gotta just do it! Just like my first bootcamp class at the Inferno back in 2010 (approximately that time) on Provincial Road. I needed to do something about my weight for some time, I was weighing in at approximately 360 lbs, the year prior. At that time, I needed to get over being shy about coming in and doing a class by myself, nobody would join me! I was meeting people who were at the same fitness level that I was at, getting a fantastic workout and sometimes not able to make it to the end of some classes, but that was in the beginning! Well, after my first few classes, I was hooked! Fast forward to 2012, I got injured, found out I have severe osteoarthritis in my knee and … Read more "Gina"
